The CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) is a prestigious program initiated by the U.S. government that supports and encourages students interested in pursuing careers in cybersecurity. This program offers valuable scholarships (up to three years) to undergraduate and graduate students in exchange for a commitment to work in a government or government-approved position within the field of cybersecurity for a specified period after graduation. The CyberCorps SFS program not only provides financial support for education but also offers unique opportunities for students to gain real-world experience, further their knowledge in cybersecurity, and make a significant impact in safeguarding national cyber infrastructure. Annually in January, CyberCorps organizes a job fair in Washington DC, bringing together all SFS recipients in one location. This three-day event offers a valuable platform for SFS scholars to interact with other recipients, recruiters, and explore potential career opportunities.
